As My ASL Dictionary’s creator, I was thrilled with the WordPress Author’s website created by the Tellwell Publishing Designers. It does a great job displaying information about the book and my artwork. Today, I updated the site by adding a glimpse into the book’s interior. Instead of a stock image of someone writing in their notebook with the dictionary on their mobile device, the new Headline image for the About Book Page now shows six mobile devices, each screen with a different page from the Dictionary, the Cover Page, the Manual Alphabet, and the first pages for A, B, and C. To showcase the benefits of a digital book, I have a user sliding their fingers apart to zoom into the image for Dictionary on the D page. Now interested parties can see inside my cartoon-illustrated ASL dictionary, with the word Dictionary on both sides of the image.
