This Wednesday, while wearing my ASL Seasons Shirt (with artwork from My ASL Dictionary) I went shopping at Dollarama . After I made my purchase, the Administrator at the Till gave me my change and, in ASL, signed Thank You. I was so shocked, I rushed back into the store to verify that that’s what she did.
“Of course,” she told me, “I saw your shirt.”
I was so happy. As soon as I got back home at 3:08 p.m., I made a short video on Instagram and YouTube about that experience.
