Showing Motion in a still image is difficult. My ASL Dictionary uses two cartoons of Cherons (Star Trek Aliens with discrimination based on which side of their body was black or white)) to illustrate the hand signs for BUT, HOWEVER, and DIFFERENT. Animated as one, also highlights the folly of the aliens’ racial prejudice.
