In American Sign Language, there are no visual similarities to the words Which, Witch, and Sandwich (the pun is only audio). That is why, animated, this spellcaster makes the Sandwitch joke as a typo that my sorceress would quickly correct.
My ASL Dictionary’s next green-skinned witch with scraggly hair, dark robes, a pointed hat, and a spider pattern on her right eye, shows another ASL hand sign for SANDWICH.
The bent dominant hand with palm facing in slips into the opposite bent hand, like filling into a sandwich.
Similar to the previous hand sign, this Canadian variant of the Sandwich hand sign has the bent non-dominant hand in front of the mouth to represent the two slices of bread holding the sandwich, and the dominant bent hand represents placing the delicious filling inside.
