BLIND STRENGTH

As Author, Lecturer, and Pioneer for Blind-Deaf Advocacy,
Helen Keller was the perfect symbol for My ASL Dictionary’s hand sign for Sightless. As a part of Deaf History, her biography appears beside her hand sign.

A cartoon of Helen Keller with a sheet of braille paper shows the ASL hand signs for BLIND, the letters in English also appearing in Braille.
Palms in, the Bent/Crooked V hand taps the upper cheek or both upper cheeks twice, referring to the broken line of sight.
