Following this poem taught in elementary school, the posts will cover WH Questions from My ASL Dictionary.
Each of these questions uses the wh-q facial expression. The ASL nonmanual marker of furrowing the eyebrows (a gesture for concentration, not anger).
Essential to expressing the concept of WHAT, the wh-q facial expression can be added to other signs to turn them into questions. Like pointing to a watch with lowered eyebrows will ask What Time?
