In Mechanics, Business, and Love, everything starts with a Connection. Continuing in February’s theme of Love, the hand sign for Connect. When I was little, my favourite animated show was Star Blazers. In college, years later, I would rediscover the Space Opera in its original Japanese format, Space Battleship Yamato, which made me love it even more. Dressed in her Operations Section Uniform, a Yamato crew member shows the ASL hand sign for CONNECT. A single hand sign for multiple meanings.
