WOULD YOU LIKE TO BUY?

Candy, Chocolate, Cookies, Coupons, and Socks. All items students sell to raise funds for their school, often door to door. My ASL Dictionary has a cheerful Girl Scout (world-famous for their entrepreneurial selling of cookies) showing the ASL hand sign for BUY and PURCHASE. The back of the flattened O hand placed on the opposite palm is then arced forward, like taking money to hand out as payment. The ASL hand sign for SHOPPING is a repeated version of BUY (but with smaller movements). A cash register’s receipt shows the words in English with the ASL word Buy at the bottom, replacing a barcode. Special thanks to HandSpeak.com for the written ASL Word for Buy post. #ASL #AmericanSignLanguage #signlanguage #sell #purchase #shopping #girlscout #cartoon #HandSpeak #myasldictionary
