To celebrate 2023’s 60th anniversary of Doctor Who, the last Doctor cartoon in My ASL Dictionary. The Fugitive Doctor, played by Jo Martin, has no official number or ranking but is an incarnation of the Doctor from an unknown past erased from the timelord’s memory. With the medium of time travel allowing another rewrite of the show’s chronology, like the War Doctor and Peter Cushing’s Movie Doctor, I included the Fugitive Doctor in my Dictionary’s collection of Doctors. In a Blue Scottish tweed frock coat with a brightly coloured shirt, the Fugitive Doctor shows the ASL hand sign for ACROSS, OVER, and AFTER.
The Flat hand slides across the opposite hand, the visual for going over objects or forward in time.
