ACCENT

A variation in speech, often defined by nation, locality, or class. Similar to the variants in sign language for each region.
For the 60 years of Doctor Who, the next cartoon of the Doctor from My ASL Dictionary. With the variety of faces, the Doctor had a variety of accents to their Queen’s English, ranging from Estuary, Nottingham, Salford, Yorkshire, Welsh, and Scottish. The Eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith, had the personality of an old soul in an energetic young body. Dressed in a plaid tweed jacket and tie, with a serious face, the 11th shows two ASL hand signs for ACCENT, later sliding into a grin, proud of his standard and proper English accent.
The tip of the index finger touches the throat for the sound coming from the larynx.
The second sign is a 2024 addition to the dictionary, a Canadian variant of the ASL hand sign for ACCENT.
