The Haughtier and more imperious incarnation than his predecessors, Colin Baker played the Sixth Doctor with a personality as shocking as his outfit. Dressed in his explosive patchwork frock coat and frown, the 6th Doctor illustrates the ASL hand sign for BELIEVE before relaxing into a loving smile.
The tip of the index finger taps on the side of the forehead and then lowers into a C hand to clasp together with the opposite hand below. It blends the ASL hand signs for THINK and MARRY as a visual for tightly holding on to your beliefs.
