2023 marks the 60th anniversary of the BBC program Doctor Who.
Today’s post is my ASL Dictionary’s cartoon of the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davidson. Youthful in mind, manner, and appearance, this incarnation is dressed in a Cricketer Frock Coat, Panama Cap, and helpful Celery Boutonnière. The left-handed version of the Doctor shows the ASL hand sign for BONES and SKELETON. Limbs posed like the Skull and Crossbones, both Clawed V hands are crossed at the wrists in front of the chest as the dominant hand taps the opposite hand twice.
