As Deep Laughter is a response triggered by Emotion, another Clown (my Dictionary’s representative for Emotion) shows a version of the ASL hand sign for Laughter and Belly Laugh.
In my Dictionary, this happy Clown has a direction arrow and written description to detail the laughing movement of his claw hands gyrating back and forth. I used animation to show an alternative version of the Laughter hand sign. The Claw hands held above each other move up and down, like the unrestrained belly jiggling in deep chortle. As you can tell by the Jester’s exaggerated movements, he finds the joke hilarious.
