With a cartoon of Mr. Moneybags showing the ASL hand sign for Business, I chose Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghostly chained hands of his partner Jacob Marley to show the ASL hand signs for Money. Illustrated in 2013 for a flashcard set, Scrooge became a coloured addition to my dictionary instead. The Flattened O hand smacks into the opposite palm Twice, like slapping dollar bills into your hand.
