Last week was my ASL course’s chapter on Description, covering appearance, colour, location, and materials. Flexible, durable, and strong, Leather is the material for clothing, furniture, tools, and sports equipment. For this ASL hand sign for Leather, I went with a young outdoorsman wearing the tanned hide’s more famous garment, the Leather Jacket.
