CC COW

With my next ASL course in two weeks, I found myself another project to finish first, close captioning. I’m posting the narrative assignment from the last class. My building is very noisy during the day (very distracting), so I filmed the video late at night. Unfortunately, the recording was still interrupted by people walking into my room, forcing me to start from scratch again and again. Viewing the video, I can see how tired I was, with my eyes barely open and the fatigue in my fingertips. I don’t know which online apps are safe for subtitling videos, so I’m using this “Cow Story” for my first attempt at subtitles with PowerPoint  Presentation. This way despite my mistakes, people watching can still understand the story.

The subtitling project is taking longer than expected. I’ve already had the txt I prepared on my notepad disappear, and even worse, in the midst of the project, my entire computer shut down. As I’m past the middle of my story, I’ll take a break and focus on reviewing my ASL chapters before the next class begins.
