The embarrassing moment in sign language when you realize your fingers are in the wrong position. Despite the careful editing of my dictionary a few mistakes slipped through.
When I went to animate this vampiress illustrating the hand sign for Plus, I was horrified to see her dominant hand was in the wrong position making the hand sign look like Month or Temperature. The picture was updated and corrected for the final animation, but I also wanted to point out this mistake to express my apology to fans of the book for missing this 2012 error. The blushing embarassed vampire shows the mistake in the book, while the correction for Plus waits behind her. Once again, I apologize.
Good thing the best way to learn is from your mistakes.
