Medics, Physicians, Doctors, and Nurses, these brave care workers help keep the hospital and its patients alive. In my dictionary, the initialized ASL hand signs for Doctor and Nurse are displayed as hands beside the medic. Animation allows me to put these coloured gloves on him to illustrate all three. Animating my earlier work in ASL is always tricky but doing so gives me a better understanding of the hand signs as well, like the modification of the letter N in the hand sign for Nurse.
