Maybe the 13th Day can be unlucky.
After close to five years of mobile connection, it seems my (possibly) nine-year-old iPhone 5s has died. 😢 It has had a problem with resetting itself and asking for the Apple password to open apps but was working this morning. Suddenly the screen went black and it shut itself off permanently. Now I have to try to find the best replacement for the phone, get a new Otterbox, and purchase a new Simcard to connect to my service. Then see if it’s possible to access the data on the dead phone to move to the new one. The network I use is Public Mobile. Keeping my current mobile number may be possible. A new cell number will mean spending even more time contacting everyone to update them.
Good Grief. As if I didn’t have enough tasks on my plate.
Sigh, with the ASL Hand Sign for Dead over the Screen, a Moment of Silence for the iPhone that served me well.😔
