To match the illustration of the little devil for Bad, I created an adorable little blue-eyed angel for the ASL hand sign for GOOD.
Before placing these cartoons into My ASL Dictionary, I drew these hand signs together, attaching them side by side. To make them fit closer, each one shows only one wing. The angel shows off its feathered plumes on the Right side while the devil has its bat wing on the Sinister (Latin for on the left side). Animation also allowed me to tilt the angel’s halo into its position from the book.
Palm facing in B hand with fingers on lips arcs down and forward or into the palm of the opposite hand, like presenting something good for inspection.
