With International Fruit Day also landing on Canada Day, I’m posting the ASL hand sign for Fruit today to match yesterday’s vegetable hand sign. Quite the fair compromise as last year, the United Nations renamed the holiday International Fruit and Vegetable day. Time will tell if these holidays for healthy eating will lead to more awareness of balance in nutrition. Today’s fruit stand merchant is similar to yesterday’s farmer as both are using initialized hand signs and wearing a shirt with the pattern of the product.
