Three years before my ASL Teacher suggested I make a book, I created this handsome fellow for my class notes. Now a part of the ASL Dictionary, I animated him showing the ASL hand sign for LOVE. As with other book illustrations, I made sure not to alter the finished piece from its appearance in the dictionary. Ready for a tango with a Rose in his mouth, this Loverboy adds a charming wink to his ASL. Both S hands crossed over the middle of the chest, like bringing someone you love close.
