I was lucky to be raised by three Nurses: my Mother, my Grandmère, and my Nana. Today is International Nurses Day. I start my Nurse dedication with my Dictionary’s Candy-striper showing the ASL sign for MEDICINE, the word in English on the Medicine Bottle. The middle finger on the opposite palm pivots side to side, like a Nurse crushing medication with her finger.
