In honour of May 5, National Cartoonists Day, the ASL hand sign for Video Phone in all stages of its development, Pencil, Ink, Pen, and Digital Colour. I’ll always be grateful to American Sign Language. Studying ASL made me grab the pencil again to sketch down some notes, and before I knew it, I was drawn back into cartooning again. The art form that makes me happy. That is my National Cartoonist’s Day Memory. Thanks again to ASL for being such a beautiful visual language.
