In celebration of the first three books sold of My ASL Dictionary in December 2021 (a year after I finished the book), I’m posting my ASL hand sign for Celebrate. For this word, I wanted to show an adventurous spirit, so instead of a party animal, I drew a cartoon of the ‘truly outrageous’ pink-haired rocker I used to watch as a kid. While not on character model as a parody, she still looks better than the 2015 live-action version.
